On Site Power Quality and Harmonic Measurements, Analysis and Solutions
Power quality is defined as the electrical network’s or the grid’s ability to supply a clean and stable power supply. IEEE 519-2022 Std is the mostly referred international standard when it comes to power quality and harmonics. The increased usage of electronic devices such as variable frequency drives, LED lightings, computers, etc in the modern era leads to poor power quality causing outages, equipment malfunction & failure, nuisance trips, energy losses, etc. The end results are huge financial losses, with the consequent loss of productivity and competitiveness. Our vast area of expertise mainly concentrates on monitoring power quality, identifying power quality issues and providing solutions to improve power quality.
We carry out measurement & analysis of the following parameters as stipulated in IEC 61000-4-30 Class A Edition 3 requirements :
- Voltage, Current & Frequency.
- Power Parameters (KW, KVA, KVAR, P.F)
- Voltage & Current Harmonics (%THD and Individual Order Harmonics)
- Transients and Rapid voltage changes.
- Motor Starting Characteristics.
- Power Quality Monitoring as per EN 50160 Std.
- Earth Leakage Test
- Voltage Dips, swells, inrush current, interruptions.
- True RMS Measurements
